Who is this Bee or Dee?

These beautiful cards were made by Barbara and Debbie Gelder of the amazingly fun “Who is this Bee or Dee?” blog. Check it out to find out more about this keen crafter mother and daughter team how make really unusual cards.

They’ve both been crafting since childhood. Sat on her nan’s knee, Bee (the mum) started crafting using a treadle sewing machine at age four. She was always in trouble for the mess she caused by crafting around the house. She later went on to become a teacher and enjoyed all the crafting associated with teacher training. Card making and related crafts keep Bee sane.

Dee has always enjoyed making things. She trained as a stage manager and really enjoyed designing sets both in miniature and full size. She has used these ideas in her card making, which started when she discover craft shops while training in Manchester. Great discovery, but hard on the student loan.

Bee and Dee were given the theme of Summer Fun and designed these gorgeous lollipop, ice cream, and kite cards especially for Extremely Crafty.
