Christmas Bloom Stocking

1. This is the reverse side of the Russian doll stocking. We cut a slightly smaller stocking out of the darker pink felt and made it reversible. Do this or cut out two same sized dark pink stockings. Remember to scallop the edge with your scissors.
2. Cut out various sized flowers. We started with the larger flower pattern and then cut each successive flower a little smaller.

3. Attach sequins and rhinestones to the centers of the accent flower. Tack flower together with a few stitches.
4. Attach rhinestones to the middles of the single layer flowers.

5. Similar to the center of the main bloom, create accent flowers by attaching a rhinestone to the stocking and surround it with five sequins arranged in a petal pattern.
6. We suggest completing the flowers separately and then sewing them on the stocking so it is easier to make changes if needed.
7. Sew ribbon to inside of stocking for hanger.
8. Either by hand or machine, sew the front and back stockings together.
