Craft Against Cancer for the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign

This is a call for all crafters to participate in a Craft Against Cancer Challenge.

*** Donate or help us fundraise and we will tell the world about your efforts on our Raffles and Fundraisers page with a photo and link back to your blog or website.***

Why Should I Help?

The cure rate for childhood cancers is 75%. Wouldn’t it be brilliant if it was 100%?

The Royal Marsden plans to challenge this and Extremely Crafty wants to help.

The Royal Marsden is one of the few hospitals in the world where, in partnership with The Institute of Cancer Research, new drug therapies for childhood cancers are developed and trialed.

Breakthroughs in childhood cancer will help all children around the world.

What’s the Plan?

The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign has a £15million fundraising target. Extremely Crafty would like to help them achieve this by calling all crafters around the globe to join together to help donate, fundraise, and spread the word.

The Royal Marsden plans to build Europe's leading Children's and Teenage Cancer Centre at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton. They're going to do everything they can to help children with cancer become children without cancer. And they need your help to do it.

The new Centre will double inpatient and day patient capacity, allowing them to treat more children and teenagers with cancer in an environment more suited to their needs and tastes.

It will also host dedicated drug development beds for children and teenagers, where they can test new anti-cancer agents on site for the first time anywhere in the world.
